No offense to LA, but the main reason we stopped there was to see our friends Derek and Katie, with the bonus of more options for flights to Hawaii.
Derek showed us around Hollywood, and we saw Grauman's Chinese Theatre and walked down Hollywood Boulevard. Saw the stars, hand prints, and the people all dressed up like characters. However, we have no pictures of any of that. But we do have pictures of Derek!
Katie lives in Pasadena, so we enjoyed some Thai food and saw the town, including the Rose Bowl. Which we hope to soon go visit and see MSU play :) No pictures of the Rose Bowl either. Pretty sure it had something to do with the end of a long road trip... Did catch the kids at a playground though!
They were holding hands walking over to the fire truck, and let go just as I took the picture :(
So thankful that we were able to see so many friends on our trip! And for the hospitality as they showed us around their hometowns. We hope to return the favor if you are able to visit us!
